چکیده
To cope with the increasingly complex electromagnetic environment, multistatic radar systems, especially passive radar, are becoming a trend of future development due to their advantages in anti-electronic jam, anti-destruction properties, and no pollution. However, one problem this multi-source network is that it brings huge amount information leads considerable computational load. Aiming at problem, paper introduces idea selecting external illuminators system. Its essence optimize configuration T/R pairs. Based on this, respectively proposes two optimization algorithms from perspective resolution unit capability, Covariance Matrix Fusion Method Convex Hull Optimization Method, then uses Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) as an illuminator verify algorithms. The experimental results show methods significantly improve accuracy positioning, obtain more reasonable use system resources. evaluate algorithm performance under large number transmitting/receiving stations, further simulation was conducted, which combination were applied combined has shown its effectiveness minimize load retain target localization precision same time.

متن کاملBistatic and Multistatic Radar Systems
Radar systems, based on bistatic radar concept attracted a substantial attention in the recent years. Passive coherent location systems using “transmitters of opportunity” like radio or TV broadcasters, GSM base stations, satellite communication and GNSS signals proved their potential in detection and tracking moving targets over a significant area. In this paper the multistatic location system...
متن کاملFM radio based bistatic radar
An experimental bistatic radar system is described that detects and tracks targets to ranges in excess of 150 km from the receiver, using echoes from a non-cooperative FM radio transmitter. The system concept and limitations on performance are described, followed by details of the processing used to implement the system. An adaptive filter algorithm is described that is used to efficiently remo...
متن کاملBistatic and Multistatic Radar Sensors for Homeland Security
The separation of transmitter and receiver in bistatic and multistatic radar sensors offers the system designer new and additional degrees of freedom to tailor solutions to specific applications. The receivers may be passive and hence largely immune to jamming. Passive systems that also use ‘illuminators of opportunity’ do not have to provide a potentially expensive transmitter. Multiple transm...
متن کاملTarget Detection in Bistatic Passive Radars by Using Adaptive Processing Based on Correntropy Cost Function
In this paper a novel method is introduced for target detection in bistatic passive radars which uses the concept of correntropy to distinguish correct targets from false detections. In proposed method the history of each cell of ambiguity function is modeled as a stochastic process. Then the stochastic processes consist the noise are differentiated from those consisting targets by constructing...
